Vice President Jim Martin '88

Martin graduated from DC in 1988 with a B.S. in Recreation. During his years at DC, he was involved with Sigma Phi Epsilon, student council, and the yearbook. Martin is now a Detective for the Lorain County Prosecutor's Office.

Jim is married with two children. He was a Sergeant for the Lorain County Sheriff for 25 years. Also, Jim is an Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) Instructor and a Subject Matter Expert for the Ohio Attorney General. Moreover, he coaches baseball and had a team (15 and 16 years old) earn an Ohio State Championship.

Martin's favorite memory about his time at DC was his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon. He said, "For most of us, it’s where life all began. Education, leadership, and friendship" about DC.
